My Review

First off I must say for a debut novel this went above and beyond my expectations. It has all the elements that I love in a romance read. It’s filled with love, drama, suspense, and has a very very swoonworthy man.

Calina Crawford has just had an f— it moment, quitting her crappy paying job and deciding it’s time for a much needed break. She packs up and heads to the one place that is very dear to her that holds many memories.

Owen Matthews **sigh** has made a good life for himself but has one thing missing, a women to share it with. He has never forgotten about the summers spent at the lake with Cali. When fate seems to bring her back into his life, he isn’t going to let her go this time.

As Cali and Owen get to know each other again, that level of comfortableness they once shared seemed to have never faded with time. Just when everything seems to be going perfectly for the couple they find themselves in situations that makes their lives difficult. With everything working against them will this second chance at love hold together?

I loved everything about this book. Cali is a very likable character, she is strong and independent. Owen is the perfect guy, extremely sweet and caring with the right amount of dominance in the bedroom. There is a perfect amount of steamy goodness that will leave you satisfied and doesn’t take away from the story. Definitely recommend one-clicking and I’m looking forward to reading more from Michelle Dare.
